Dr. Lee Merritt started her medical career at age 4 doing house calls with her father. She is a lifelong member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and past president of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS). She is a former board member of the Arizona Medial Association (ARMA) and a classically trained physician who earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Lee Merritt was an Orthopedic Spinal Surgeon for 27 years and studied Bio-Weapons. She participated in an internship at National Medial Navel Center in Bethesda Maryland for Internal Medicine. She did her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at San Diego Navel Medical Center. She spent 10 years as a Military Surgeon in many places and was awarded the Lewis Goldstein Fellowship in Spinal Surgery, the only women to have ever received that award. Dr. Lee Merritt was speaker at Doctors for Disaster Preparedness and of course, a free thinker!
